Tandoori Chicken Tikka
Chicken Tikka, or chunks of chicken, are marinated in spices and yogurt then baked in a
Tandoor Oven. There are a couple of different notions of it's origins. Some believe that it was conceived in either a British Pakistani or a British Bangladeshi restaurant then there are many who believe that it is merely a variation on an Indian dish known to the Mughal Emperors.

The origin of kebab lie in the short supply of cooking fuel in the East, which made the cooking of large foods difficult. The phrase is essentially Persian in origin and Arabic tradition has it that the dish was invented by medieval Iranic soldiers who used their swords to grill meat over open-field fires. Ibn Battuta records that kebab was served in the royal houses of India since at least the Sultanate period, and even commoners would enjoy it for breakfast with
Naan.
